👤 Who processes your data?

LiveTranslate Call is a video calling application with real-time translation. The application is operated by an individual developer, not a large corporation.

📦 What data do we store?

We only store what is necessary for the service to function. No registration, no email address, no password.

✅ What we DO NOT store

We do not store video or audio recordings, IP addresses, device identifiers, your real name, email address, or any payment information.

🗑️ Automatic deletion

All data is automatically deleted 5 days after the call. You don't need to do anything — it happens automatically.

⚠️ Important note

If you wish to export your call data (chat history, transcript), you must do so within 5 days after the call. After that, the data is irreversibly deleted.

🌍 Where do we store data?

📍 EU data storage

All data is stored within the European Union on Supabase EU West servers (Frankfurt, Germany). Data is not transferred outside the EU.

Video and audio data flows directly between the two participants via LiveKit servers and is not stored long-term.

🔒 Encryption and security

Chat messages: end-to-end encrypted (AES-GCM 256-bit E2EE)
Data transmission: TLS 1.3 encryption on all connections
Video and audio: server-side encryption on LiveKit infrastructure
Database: Supabase Row Level Security protection

🔐 How to exercise your rights?

Click the "Data" button on the call screen to instantly export or delete your data. No separate request or waiting time is required.

🍪 Cookies

The application uses minimal local storage in your browser:

Translation cache — local storage of already translated texts for faster display
User preferences — selected language and display settings

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics tools.
